Sign-Ups Are Open for the Hades 2 Technical Test
Get in line if you want to enter Hades 2 early. No, really, wait in line; Supergiant Games is accepting registrations for the beta test, also known as the technical test. You will be allowed to play the game's first part if you accept the invitation. with the disclaimer that, should you experience a crash, the developers would really appreciate receiving error reports from you. Additionally, it seems like the test will go on for a while, which excites me.
Sign-Ups for the Hades 2 Technical Test are now open.
The truth is that I seldom apply for technical testing, beta tests, or whatever term you want to use. It's simply a question of taste, but I like to play whole games. But you better believe I've already signed up for the Hades 2 exam. I'm very excited to see what Supergiant has in store for the continuation of one of my all-time favorite games. Click the "Request Access" button on the Hades 2 Steam page if you wish to take part in this. Though there is regrettably no assurance that you will be accepted, don't lose hope—invitations will be extended gradually.
How much of the game will you be able to play now? "The initial primary region of the game, along with additional early-game characters, systems, and material." If you've played the original game, try to envision traversing Tartarus without being able to go beyond the Furies' combat. Although "the game will gently suggest that you discontinue play" after the first few times, I believe there won't be a cap on how many times you may repeat the part.
Supergiant predicts that the test will go for "longer than a week, shorter than a month." Furthermore, no save data from the technical test will be carried over because of "structural differences with the Early Access version," so feel free to go crazy. I'm sure I'll do my hardest to take use of every last bit of stuff it has to offer. See the official notice for more information on the test.
