Zelda TOTK Repair Weapon with Rock Octorok

Let's speak about using Rock Octoroks to repair weapons now that we know where to locate them in Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom. Dropping the object in front of the monster is the first step. It is best to get it as near to its mouth as possible. It is also possible, of course, toss the weapon in front of the Octorok's mouth. Regardless of how you do it, you will need to get some distance from the creature after it has sucked in the weapon because it will spit it out very quickly. This procedure gives the object a random effect and restores its durability. It is going to be replaced if it has already made an impact. The things acquired via scanning amiibos are not compatible with the method.

In Zelda TOTK, a Rock Octorok may only be used to repair a weapon once per creature. But you may always wait for them to respawn during a Blood Moon and kill them later. As needed, rinse and repeat.
