It Looks Like Everything I've Ever Wanted: Tales of the Shire
Ever find yourself thinking, "Man, hobbits have it made?" I desire to have a comfortable life in the Shire. Don't lie to me; you have, of course. A charming, rural existence is unfortunately unattainable nowadays, which is where Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game comes in. Aside from the awkward and too lengthy title, this is a very great concept. In retrospect, I find it astounding that it took so long for someone to create a nice hobbit-based agricultural simulation. Please provide it to me right now.
What then is the story of Tales of the Shire about? Naturally, you're living your best hobbit life. Naturally, the first stage is to make your own hobbit, and the creators promise a wide range of customizing possibilities. You probably get to do anything you want after that. You may fish, visit stores, grow crops, and experience various seasons and weather conditions in a farming simulation. Imagine Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing with hobbits; you get the idea. It seems that you will also be trying to create the greatest celebration that hobbitkind has ever seen in order to make your town, Bywater, the talk of the Shire.
Naturally, that isn't all. Additionally, you will get the opportunity to explore and take in Bywater's surroundings. The developers will undoubtedly leave some awesome stuff for us to discover. Who knows, maybe there are Elves spying on us or something. Furthermore, we don't know what period this game is set in; if it's close to Fellowship of the Ring's second chapter (Shadows of the Past), we may even encounter Ringwraiths if we're really unfortunate. Alternatively, it may be subsequent to the scouring of the Shire, and we might need to fix some of the harm caused by Saruman and Wormtounge. I'm eager to learn more.
Although the actual release date of Tales of the Shire is unknown, we do know that it will happen in 2024. It is compatible with the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. If you'd like, you may already add it to your Steam wishlist. And to see the current build in action, watch the clip below. Although it seems a touch ragged at the edges, there is still time to make adjustments.
