In EA FC 24, if your Founder Evolution progress continues vanishing, you've run across an issue that seems to have many possible causes. You will lose all the progress you have made, for instance, if the developed player becomes hurt and you use an item to heal them. It may also occur if the game fails and you are returned to the main menu. Alternatively, the player card may just randomly return to a standard gold or any other kind of card while you're simply playing games, following the instructions in the evolution chores. The player seems to be entirely blocked from future development and loses their ability to trade. Though it doesn't usually occur, it is possible.
