Even if the valiant helldivers everywhere have defeated Sony with much effort, the battle is far from done. For starters, the Steam review score hasn't improved as of the writing date. Whether it ever does or not is anyone's guess, but I'm certain that a sizable portion of users will decline to change their poor reviews to favorable ones. Furthermore, Helldivers 2 is still delisted in all nations without PSN access. Actually, there are now a beautiful, even hundred and twenty. It will be interesting to watch as this continual conflict is seen.

Helldivers 2 Has Not Returned to Normal Yet

When it rains, it pours, but as soon as you shut your umbrella, a bird is always ready to dive upon your head, even when the clouds are starting to part. Even after Helldivers 2 was prohibited in all non-PSN nations, the list has grown by three more nations. The still-raw community responded to this right away, and CEO Pilestedt had to answer on Discord. It turns out that Valve was responsible for this, as revealed by PCGamesN. They modified the list of prohibited nations to add Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania since it seemed to be inadequate.

Thus, no, this does not imply that further limitations will soon be implemented. Which is hard to accept given that Valve was first accused of putting the restrictions in place before it was discovered that they had followed Sony's directions. However, Pilestedt has been quite open, so I think he's telling the truth. All of this, however, just serves to highlight how far from done the battle is. In twenty countries, Helldivers 2 is still not available for purchase. Arrowhead is working hard to reverse this decision, but given the way large businesses operate, it may be weeks before Sony changes their mind—if they do so at all.
