Blood Moon, TOTK Force

We'll go over how to call forth the Blood Moon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom in our TOTK Force Blood Moon tutorial. It is possible to get the Blood Moon in TOTK to occur earlier than expected, although it does require some effort. It entails tampering with the game until the memory of the Switch is overloaded. You won't break anything, so don't worry. Now let's get started.

How to Call & Coerce Blood Moon in Kingdom Tears

In Zelda TOTK or Tears of the Kingdom, the only method to physically summon the Blood Moon is to overwrite the memory on the Switch. Here's how the Blood Moon works by default, however, before we get into it in more depth. It occurs once every seven in-game days that you play, or around two hours and forty-eight minutes in real time. Resting by a fire for a few in-game days won't seem to speed it up; instead, it seems to be linked to the console's clock. Furthermore, I don't believe that manually adjusting the time will allow you to beat the game. No, you need to set the Switch to low memory, which you may do as follows.

In Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or TOTK, you may enter the Tanagar Canyon West Cave to forcibly summon the Blood Moon. These coordinates represent the entrance: -3285, 0789, -0104. Follow the cave's path until you reach the enormous, dark-blue stone wall. Just far enough to allow you to glide off and enter "bullet time" as you draw your bow in the air, climb up onto one of the side walls. Fire four or so opal arrows quickly back and forth into the wall. There will be a lot of latency in the game; this is expected. The Blood Moon should come on as you touch down.
