If your PS5 or PS4 isn't cooperating with the game, we'll offer you some tips in our No Rest for the Wicked Controller Not Working Fix guide. Next, we'll provide you with a list of the PlayStation equivalents for each Xbox button. Why? because, regrettably, the game only displays Xbox button instructions. Shall we dive straight in, please?
How Can I Fix Wicked Controller Not Working Issue with No Rest?
Make sure your controller is connected in before starting the game; this is the one thing that seems to resolve the problem of your controller not functioning in No Rest for the Wicked. If you plug the controller in after you're already in, it seems to get confused for some reason. Thus, the simplest possible solution is to first quit No Rest for the Wicked entirely. Connect your controller, then give it another go.
Additionally, you are free to utilise a PS5 or PS4 controller. It is necessary to activate Steam Input via the Steam app, however. In your library, click No Rest for the Wicked. Next, click the controller symbol next to the Settings icon, to the right of the Play button. You're ready to begin after you enable Steam Input. Unfortunately, Xbox buttons will always appear in the in-game prompts. It may be rather perplexing since you can't currently switch them out for PlayStation buttons. This takes us to the next section.
