Playtest for April 24 is announced by Serum Developers
Do you believe you possess the necessary skills to endure the altered terrors and harsh surroundings of Serum? Would you want to play the game before it launches into Early Access so you can see all it has to offer before anybody else does? If so, you are exactly what the creators are trying to find. A limited number of players are invited to test Serum and provide their opinions. Of course, you must apply, but it's not too difficult to do so.
To access the Serum Steam page, just go to the section directly under the wishlist button. The little "Join the Serum Playtest" section may be found there. Simply click the "Request Access" button and adhere to the on-screen instructions. Simple as pie. As of right now, there's no assurance that you'll get an invitation or when it will. These things usually come in waves, so be sure to keep an eye on your email (and don't forget about the spam folder).
But before you take any action, keep in mind that a playtest is more than simply an opportunity to play a game you've been eager to play for a very long time. It is a duty. If you get access, you have an obligation to the developers. They will probably expect you to provide constructive criticism and will prohibit you from discussing what you observed too much. For the sake of everyone else who wants Serum to be the greatest game possible, please take this seriously.
The seven-day Serum playtest is scheduled to start on April 24 at 1 PM CEST and run until May 1. The game is scheduled to launch into Early Access sometime in Q2 2024. That is, May or June. We'll have to wait and see, but in my opinion, mid-May is when it will happen.
