One of the most apparent concerns that the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC video sparked was: Will Miquella make an appearance in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree? As you are aware, Miquella plays a major role in the backstories of many of Elden Ring's most well-known figures. He hasn't yet shown up in person in the actual game, however. However, it seems that Shadow of the Erdtree will alter everything. Will Miquella be included in Shadow of the Erdtree, and if so, how will she be featured? Is Miquella under the Erdtree's shadow?

Though it hasn't been confirmed, Miquella will most likely make an appearance in Shadow of the Erdtree in one way or another. The opening sequence of the trailer includes a prominent image of his cocoon, and the closing shots of the video show a presumed shot of Miquella with his long, golden hair. And although the last scene in the teaser could just be a flashback of Miquella's pre-Mohg abduction, it's also possible that we'll be able to see the demigod in some other capacity.

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree in Miquella Theories

Naturally, there are a lot of rumors circulating about Miquella's part in the DLC. Among them is the fact that he is really Messmer the Impaler in a twisted form. Or that Messmer may be Miquella and Mohg's offspring. Additionally, Miquella may be the monster that resembles a Chinese dragon that we see in the teaser. The fact that Miquella and the dragon both have blonde hair, however, is the sole indication that this is accurate. In any event, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will be released on June 21, 2024, so we won't have to wait long to learn the truth.
